چکیده
Background: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common type of chronic worldwide. Left untreated, it can be a risk factor for developing cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Although experts have made many efforts to find underlying mechanisms NAFLD, they remain mystery. Objectives: This study aimed distinguish gene signatures and pathways in human during NAFLD progression through systems biology. Methods: In this study, researchers selected three microarray datasets, GSE48452, GSE63067, GSE89632, from NCBI GEO database explore differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among healthy controls, simple steatosis, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) patients. Furthermore, protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks pathway enrichment analyses were used detect biological different stages NAFLD. Results: The current included 45 participants, 36 steatosis patients, 46 NASH Common Chi3L1, ICAM1, MT1A, MT1H, ABCB11, ACOT1, CYP2C9, HSP90B1, CPB2, which are involved inflammation oxidative stress pathways. Conclusions: present investigated shared vital between may facilitate understanding identifying potential therapeutic targets disease.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is increasing in pediatric age group parallel to the growing prevalence of obesity and overweight all around the world. So changing in life style and interventions on obesogenic environment is cornerstone of NAFLD therapy in obese children. Some experts recommend that children and adolescents be encouraged to follow a low-fat, low-glycemic-index diet t...

AIM To identify a panel of biomarkers that can distinguish between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and explore molecular mechanism involved in the process of developing NASH from NAFLD. METHODS Biomarkers may differ during stages of NAFLD. Urine and blood were obtained from non-diabetic subjects with NAFLD and steatosis, with normal liver fu...

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is known to be associated with an increased risk of colorectal cancer (CRC). However, the relationship between NAFLD and the prognosis of CRC remains unclear. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) rates in patients with CRC and the secondary objective was to compare clinicopathologic...

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (or NAFLD) is a recently recognized chron ic liver disease, strongly linked to obesity. As the number of obese Americans has doubled in the past three decades, not sur prisingly, NAFLD is becoming increasingly common. The hallmark of persons with NAFLD is having too much fat in the liver. This fat is deposited within the cells of the liver (the medical term is...
متن کاملNonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
N 'onalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) includes a spectrum of hepatic pathology that resembles alcohol-induced liver disease but develops in individuals who are not heavy drinkers. NAFLD is likely to be the most common cause of chronic liver disease in many countries and may also potentiate liver damage induced by other agents, such as alcohol, industrial toxins, and hepatotrophic viruses. ...
